Have you ever been intimidated when ordering wine in a restaurant? Do you pick your wine by price or by how much you like to label? Have you ever wondered why California sparkling wine isn't called Champagne? If you've ever wanted to learn more about wine then Bacchus is for you! Bacchus is a gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual wine tasting group in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bacchus has been in existence for more than 10 years, and we dedicated to the pursuit of learning more about wine in an informal social setting. Whether you are a wine novice or an expert, Bacchus is for you!

The location of Bacchus wine tastings vary. Approximately fifty people get together once a month to taste through a given wine theme. At the wine tasting you might taste 3 different Chilean Cabernets and 3 different California Chardonays in various price ranges. The idea is to taste a broad section of wines and to get a sense of style and quality available in different price ranges. All wines are purchased from Vintage's Wines 9 S. Tejon St. in Colorado Springs, and each wine tasting is led by a representative of Vintage's.
